In addition, Attorney Oriel has handled all kinds of civil matters in the District Court, Superior Court, and Probate and Family Court.

He has practiced before the Federal District Court in Boston, as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been an Arbitrator for FINRA (formerly NASD), which is the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority for the Securities industry, for over fifteen years, for which he has been selected to serve as Chairman of a three person Arbitration Panel in dozens of cases.

Attorney Oriel was involved in the unanimous reversal by the First Circuit Court of Appeals of the Federal District Court decision as set forth in: Nba Properties, Inc., Plaintiff, Appellee, v. Richard Gold, et al., Defendants, Appellants – 895 F.2d 30

Recently, he was successful in persuading a mortgage lender who had foreclosed on his client’s home to return the house to his client without any consideration, including the cancellation of the mortgage balance.

Attorney Oriel has developed business contacts in several of the Middle East countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. Anyone desiring to do business in any of the Middle East countries should contact Attorney Oriel, who can help them facilitate getting the business licensed and/or approved by the appropriate licensing authorities. He can also arrange for translators, and any necessary security assistance that may be necessary for clients doing business in the Middle East.
